Siteground Web Hosting Review

Our Honest Assessment of Siteground Hosting After 1 Years

SiteGround is considered as one of the best website hosting providers out there.

It says speed is its passion, security solutions its specialty, and technical support its pride.

Sounds good na?

But how does all that marketing talk shake out in reality?

Well, that’s what this mega Siteground review aims to find out.

What sets the Siteground hosting part from the pack? Does it have exactly what you’re looking for, or would another hosting provider be a better fit for you?

We’ll cover the most important deciding factors of any web host in-depth, but before that first, let me quickly tell you why you should trust my word…

Why You Should trust this Siteground Review?

Getting an accurate picture of any web hosting provider can be notoriously difficult these days. because most of the web hosting reviews are often biased or written by someone who has never ever used the host he/she is reviewing.

(I had also described this situation in my “Top 10 web hosting comparison” about how bloggers and influencer manipulate beginner webmaster to buy a hosting just based on its popularity rather than performance)

This is why today I have decided to come upfront and tell you who am I and why you should trust this Siteground hosting review.

Shivam choudhary nova

Hi! I’m Shivam Choudhary. I started my blogging Journey in 2013. Back when I started in early 2013, like most blogs, I didn’t pay much attention to the hosting service.

I started with a random EIG hosting “Hostgator” but just after 6 months of my blog, my cPanel got hacked (All credit goes to my hosting provider😠)

After that, I moved to another host “Reseller club” and had been used more than 7 different hosting providers in the past 5-6 years of Blogging Journey.

I moved my site to Siteground last year. (Check the screenshot below)

After using it for a long time, today I would like to give you my honest assessment of the Sitegound hosting platform, being the result of my first-hand experience with it.

Personal note: This article was not commissioned or altered by SiteGround, or any other third party.

Now it’s time to dive in to our detailed SiteGround review..

What’s Siteground hosting anyway?

Siteground plans

It is pretty awesome to see that a privately owned web hosting company has risen to compete with industry giants, considering the fact that the company was founded by a group of friends working out of their university dorm rooms in Bulgaria during 2004.

SiteGround offers different types of hosting solutions ranging from shared Linux hosting (the most affordable hosting solution used by most of the websites) all the way to, WordPress, Cloud and Reseller and Enterprise server solutions for large, growing websites.

They have accumulated many accolades and the various sites have sung praises about them for their rock-solid performance, but I would say their biggest achievement to date should be endorsed by WordPress itself.

Wordpress recommended hosts

Yes, Siteground is one of the three hosts which is officially recommended by itself. In WordPress’s own word “Siteground is one of the biggest and brightest of the hosting world.”

But what about the data? How is its performance in the real world? What’s the uptime like? How do they compare against the competition?!

Yes, I know what you’re here for, and I have got you covered. Let’s get started.

#1 Rated Web Host in Multiple Facebook Groups

I didn’t wanted to restrict this Siteground WordPress hosting review to just my opinion and experience.

So, I went on the Facebook group (Hosting specific), Twitter, Trustpilot and few other trusted online platforms where real users shares their experience about their web hosting.

And guess what? I was surprised to see that Facebook was no#1 rated host in more than 35 Facebook polls.

Most of these polls were taken from the closed Facebook groups. If you want to see the public ones, here they are ( Click hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick here)

Performance of Siteground WordPress hosting

If you are new to the Blogging world then you have to understand this – “Speed Is King”

In 2018, Google announced that page speed will become an official ranking factor for Google search engine.

This means now Google will only rank those sites on the top position of search results which loads fast (Generally 1-3 seconds.)

Many case studies have already shown that slow site speed can negatively affect your overall website.

In fact, According to data from Akamai – If your website takes longer than three seconds to load, you could be losing nearly half of your visitors.

Fortunately, SiteGround understands this very well and they’ve done their homework.

Before explaining how Siteground manage to give outstanding performance to their users, let me quickly show you the result first.

To test my site speed result, here I have used Gtmetrix and Pingdom (these are two of the most popular and most used Speed testing tool)

And here is the result…

Pingdom before speed test
Pingdom Speed test before moving to Siteground

Pingdom after speed test
Pingdom Speed test After moving to Siteground

Gt metrix speed test before
GTmetrix Speed test before moving to Siteground

Gtmetrix speed test after
GTmetrix Speed test after moving to Siteground

But What makes Siteground super-fast?

I know this is the obvious question that’ll come in your mind after seeing the result.

Well, SiteGround’s servers are built with speed in mind. They employ all the industry’s latest technologies combined with their unique solutions created in-house to give super-fast performance.

1. Siteground platform is powered by Google Cloud (Latest Update)

This is something which most of the Siteground host reviews are not vocal about (It’s not their fault as Siteground has recently announced this super big news)

Se, the server infrastructure plays a very crucial role in how your website would perform in different Geo location.

Recently Siteground announced that they have moved their server infrastructure to Google cloud platform and from 1 January 2020 they will utilize Google’s platform to provide the best speed and reliability to their customers.

Siteground Google cloud platform

I don’t know if you are already aware of the Google cloud platform or not, Google cloud is notoriously known for maintaining one of the fastest and most powerful networks which means now Siteground hosted sites will be faster than ever before.

One of the biggest advantages of cloud setup is the distributed storage.

Siteground uses Google’s SSD persistent storage, which has multiple redundancies.

What this means is that your website data is not stored on a single physcial machine and is not lost if the hardware on this machine fails even in rare cases.

2. Siteground Uses latest speed technologies for faster loading time

No doubt, Siteground is consistently among the first hosting provider to provide their customers access to the latest speed technologies in the industry.

Their users do not have to wait in order to take advantage of the newest PHP version or the newest network protocol.

  • NGINX: web server technology that accelerates your site loading time.
  • HTTP/2 enabled servers: This is the newest network protocol, which significantly increases the website loading process in browsers.
  • PHP 7.4: PHP is a server-side scripting language which is used to create dynamic contents (eg. WordPress site). Sitegroudn was the first host to release PHP 7.4 (latest version) in the industry.

3. Siteground Provide Free CDN on its all plan

No doubt, Cloudflare has one of the most reliable global networks and every Siteground user can leverage the advantage of its benefits with their hosting account.

All the Siteground plans (even the Startup plan) include a free Cloudflare CDN (content delivery network).

But Why is Cloudflare CDN faster?

Well Cloudflare CDN caches your static website’s content and distribute it over a network of 100+ server available worldwide. And When someone visits your blog or website, your website content is delivered to them from the closest server to your users which eventually makes your website loading process twice as fast!

Usually, the CDN setup process is always considered a very complex process, but Siteground makes it pretty simple with 1 click setup process.

4. Siteground Provides an in-house custom Caching Solution

Siteground has built a unique mechanism that adds several layers of caching on your website, Currently, no other hosting company is offering this kind of mechanism at this price point.

In fact, Siteground was the first hosting company to implement Memcached in their shared server environment.

Siteground also offers an all-inclusive “SG Optimizer” plugin which is specially created for Siteground users (Not work on any other host)

They have recently launched the brand new version of the SG optimizer plugin. The new SG Optimizer plugin is all about speed. It now comes with several different types of options that allow you to optimize your website and its content to boost page loading speeds.

Like, as I already mentioned Siteground uses an in-house caching system called SuperCacher to improve website performance from the server-side. SG optimizer plugin will help you control all the three-level of caching: Static, Dynamic, and Memcached directly from your WordPress dashboard.

SG optimizer plugin
SG optimizer plugin

On top of that, It comes with plenty of other speed optimization features like One-Click HTTPS, Automatic image optimization, Script and code minification, GZIP Compression and many more to take your website performance to the next level.

Editor’s Note: If you are using Siteground hosting, then you don’t need to pay extra $75-$125/year to get a good Caching solution for your website. Siteground provides top-notch caching solution to their users for free of cost.

What about Siteground’s Uptime?

Apart from loading time, Uptime is another very important factor that I always consider while choosing a web hosting service and there is a big reason behind it.

In the past, I had an issue with an EIG hosting service where my server resources were finished and my website was down for a couple of hours.

That single issue had alone cost me a lot in the form of a bad experience with my readers as well as many of my website articles lost its top position from the search engine ranking.

Siteground guarantees to provide 99.99% uptime, but this is something that every web hosting promise but fails to complete when it is necessary.

This was the reason why I was consistently monitoring my site uptime with an online tool called “Uptime Robot

And I am quite impressed with their uptime performance.

Have a look at my last month’s uptime report:

Siteground uptime

My site was not down for even a single minute in the last 1 year.

That’s impressive...

But don’t you want to know how they manage to live on their uptime guarantee where most of the shared hosting provider fails?

  • Using Linux Containers: Siteground has built its platform on LXC (Linux containers) technology. This technology is highly resources efficient and provides great stability as a rock even during unexpected traffic spikes.
  • Real-time server health checks: Siteground DevOps team has created an in-house server-monitoring system that checks the server status every 0.5 seconds (Far more often than any standard monitoring systems used in the hosting industry). This monitoring system not only helps to detect current issues and fixes them immediately but also has the ability to foresee future complications and take measures to avoid them.
  • Using Secure Account Isolation Technology: Siteground has implemented server isolation technology on its server. That means, one infected or hacked website will not affect other websites on the same server (Generally in shared server).

SiteGround Server Response Time

Your website’s contents have a very large impact on your total page loading time.

For example – if you have used many high-resolution images on your web page, then it will significantly increase the overall loading time of that particular page.

This means that the speed test result (With GtMetrix or Pingdom) may not accurately reflect how fast your hosting server really is.

Instead of analyzing page load time alone, we decided to test the actual server response time as well.

This is why instead of analyzing page loading time alone, I decided to test the actual server response time as well.

Server response time basically meansures how long it takes the server to deliver all of the elements of your website to a user’s browser.

To test our server response time, I used a very popular tool called Bitcatcha. This tool basically ignores the page content and only tests response time of the server.

Now have a look at our test result:

Siteground server response time
Siteground server response time

As you can see in the screenshot, Siteground has an exceptional response time ( Google recommends response times of <200ms)

My website is primarily hosted on the Singapore server, so response time for there is just 2ms.

But the best part is even though my site is hosted on the Singapore server, Still, the server response time from India (Banglore) is only 59ms.

This proves that the use of latency reducing tools and software like SuperCacher, php7, HHVM, NGINX, all contribute to the consistent fast loading speed across all over the globe.

Is SiteGround Easy to Use?

Where most of the web hosting providers at this price point are offering the old traditional CPanel, Siteground doesn’t seem to believe in the traditional cPanel admin for managing your hosting account.

Instead, they give you their own custom solution, which is much easier to use than old cPanel and gets you straight to the most important details/metrics that actually matter to you.

Siteground traditional cpanel
Siteground’s old dashboard

Siteground new cpanel
Siteground’s new dashboard

Siteground team was working on the new interfaces from the past 3 years to improve the way their user build and manage their websites and hosting on SiteGround.

Finally, last year in June they made it public for all of their new and existing customers.

The new interface makes the whole site management easier and more efficient than ever before. It is built using REACT as a single-page application, allowing you to manage your site and hosting through any device (Fully mobile friendly).

Let’s take a glance at what it actually looks like from a user’s point of view:

Siteground dashboard
Site management tool
Siteground wordpress installation
WordPress and Woocommerce installation
Siteground traffic analysis
Website Traffic report
Siteground email creation
Email creation and management

As you can see in the screenshots, it is very different from what we used to get in a traditional cPanel.

New Siteground dashboard focuses more on your daily/regular task as related to your hosting platform, rather than on server administration per se.

For example – They have organized the Siteground’s dashboard around themes and topics such as security, speed, and more so that it becomes faster to find exactly what you need.

Most of their site tool performs a task in just a single click. For example – You can create MySQL databases or FTP users in just a second.

Let me give you some more examples of how Siteground has made the whole site management process easier than ever before.

Example No 1: If you have ever used any web host in your life, then you must be knowing that you can add only 1 domain as your primary domain in cPanel.

And if you want to add more domain in your hosting then you have to add it as an add-on domain and that makes the whole site creation and management process different from the primary domain.

But now with Siteground custom dashboard, you don’t have to worry about it as you can add as many domains (as per plan support) you want in the same way and you’ll get separate Site Tools for each website under your account.

You just need to click on the “new website” option and add your new domain.

Siteground new website create
Add new website in Siteground
Siteground domain add

And as soon as you created your new site with the new domain you’ll get a separate site tool for your new domain just like your primary domain.

Siteground domain add

Example No 2 – Let’s say you want to install WordPress or even WordPress + Woocommerce on your domain. With Siteground new site tool, now you can install WordPress or woocommerce within just a few clicks.

Siteground wordpress installation

Example No 3 – Let’s say you want to create a new email account with your domain address. With Siteground new site tool, now you can create your email account within a single click a well as manage your email account right from your dashboard.

Siteground email creation

These were just a few examples of how Siteground new site management tool has made the whole site creation and managing process easy and efficient.

How Secured is Siteground web Hosting?

It seems as if hardly a day goes by without the news of a new online security breach. Individuals, big corporates and even government entities have been victimized of security breaches time to time.

The truth is “security” is a major concern for anyone owning a website in today’s time.

Your first line of defense should be your hosting provider since many attacks DDoS and malware attacks occur at the server level.

Let’s have a look at how Siteground protects your site from security threats and breaches!

1. In-house Server Isolation

See Ideally, a web server is filled with both good and bad accounts (websites.)

So, what will happen if a single vulnerable account (website) get hacked or infected on the server?

Well in this situation all other websites running on the same server will be easily affected.

This is why Siteground had developed a chroot mechanism to isolate each account in its own directory.

This, even if there is a single account with a security flaw, it couldn’t affect the other on the server.

2. Keep all the technologies and Software up to date

An outdated server software opens countless possibilities for exploits -like a hole in your fence.

And most web hosting companies don’t update their software regularly and fail to spot the holes.

Even the one who do, Simply waits for an official fix from the developers of the software to be released. But this may take weeks, during which the server remains vulnerable to intruders.

Fortunately, Siteground makes sure to keep all the software up to date to the latest version and also monitors for exploits regularly.

In case a software gets compromised, they write their own patches to fix it, until an official stable release comes out, instead of putting the server tat risk while waiting.

3. Intrusion Prevention System

Brute force attacks are one of the most common and popular attacks executed on WordPress sites.

In Layman’s language, Brute Force Attack involves the trial and error method of entering multiple usernames and password combinations again and again until a successful combination is discovered.

To prevent your WordPress site from Brute force attacks, Siteground runs a powerful Intrusion Prevention System called 1H Hawk, which will identify if someone is trying to brute-force any of your passwords – like Email, FTP or other, and will disable access to the attackers IP address in Real-time.

4. CDN security benefit for free

As I mentioned earlier, Siteground provides free Cloudflare CDN to all of its users.

And a CDN will not only improve your website performance but it’ll also help you improve your website security.

Cloudflare CDN protects your website by analyzing which of the traffic you receive is legitimate, and which is malicious.

It will automatically protect your website from Spammers, DDoS attacks, excessive bot crawling, SQL Injection attacks, and more.

Siteground customer support is truly unparalleled

Any time I am reviewing a potential Hosting provider, I always prioritize customer support.

I know, In most instances – you probably won’t need to contact your web hosting provider. So, customer support might not be on the top of your priority list while checking out a hosting provider.

But from my experience, I can promise that it will change in the event of an emergency or time when you need some extra assistance from experts.

When it comes to Siteground, Customer support is one of its core strengths. Their customer support service has always been top-notch, and they’re constantly praised for it on Facebook and Twitter by their users.

Let’s have a look at the detailed overview of Siteground support service:

1. Knowledge-Based Articles

Siteground’s support option begins with its multiple knowledge-based pages.

The primary one is the generic knowledge base site which answers general questions organized by topics such as hosting, applications, billing, cPanel and so on.

Each section has multiple articles written by the experts that help with many of the most common issues.

If you don’t see your issue on the knowledge-based landing page then you can make use of search box at the top to drill deeper,

Siteground knowledge base

Beyond the knowledge base, they also have dedicated tutorials for  WordPress, Joomla, Magento, and Drupal.

The SiteGround knowledge base is one of the best around in the industry. Even if you don’t use their service, still it is a valuable resource for all things web hosting

2. Siteground Help desk

Now, when it comes to contacting them and talk one to one. You’ll have to go to the support section you’ll find under your Siteground dashboard.

Upon landing on the support page, you’ll find three options “Technical Assistance” “Advanced Technical Help” and “Billing Support.”

Here they have categorized the type of help generally any customer will need. This categorization basically helps them to understand the user’s problem in the best way and then the right person who is expert in that field can easily help the users.

For instance, If I select “Advanced Technical Help” then as you can see in the screenshot, I’ll have plenty of options like “Site slow”, “Website security”, “Backup creation”, “Backup store” and so on.

Siteground help desk

3. 24/7 Live chat support

The live chat feature is that I personally use most, Anytime I encounter a problem, I chat with their live team first. The waiting time has never been long and my problem has been usually quickly resolved.

My first experience with their support team.

The first thing that I liked about Siteground support is their quick response time.

Where some of the most popular Hosting I have used like Bluehost and Hostgator usually takes 5-10 minutes to reply to their live chat support, Siteground replies to me every time within a minute. To be precise, within a few seconds.

Siteground chat

The very first time, I contacted them was to remove my credit card from their system.

Actually, I had used my friend’s card to pay the bill and he wanted me to remove the card but I was not seeing any option to remove, so I contacted them.

And believe me, my first chat with the Siteground support team was super pleasant, within a minute he removed my card.

Here is the screenshot of my first chat.

Siteground support service

In the past 1 year, I have contacted them more than 10 times and they have resolved my problem every time.

Here is another example of one of my live chat with them.

Siteground support team chat

4. Get in touch with Siteground team through the support ticket

Another easy way to reach the Siteground support team is by raising a support ticket for your issue from your Siteground Dashboard.

Whenever you’ll try to contact them, they will provide you two options: Either you can contact them via live chat or raise a support ticket.

Siteground raise ticket

The support ticket feature is best when you want to explain them a big issue with screenshot and attachments.

For example, I was having an issue with the Gutenberg editor on my website. First I thought it is having because of my Cache plugin, so I deactivated the plugin but that did not solved my problem.

Finally, I raised a support ticket to Siteground explaining my full situation with screenshots.

And within the next 13 minutes, they not only replied to me but also solved my problem.

Siteground support ticket

5. 24/7 Phone support

In any case, if you don’t want to contact them via chat or support ticket then just give them a call.

SiteGround offers 24/7 phone support. Their toll-free number has an average wait time of only 5 seconds which guarantees that you will receive fast and efficient support.

Editor’s not on Siteground support: Siteground support is truly unparalleled in hosting industry. As you all know almost every web hosting company promise to provide 24/7 supports but not evryone complente their promise. Most of the hosting company i have used in my life has average support service (where you have to wait for at least 15 minute in live chat and even 5-6 hour in support ticket to conatct them). But Sietrgound truly offers what they promise. They have never disappointed me in last 1 year.

Is everything good with Siteground hosting?

See, I have always believed in being honest and trans[arent with my readers.

There are no online or even offline products that have only good things. Similarly, Each hosting company has its own pros and cons.

Whereas some advantages can overshadow the disadvantages, but some cons can be a total deal-breaker for your individual needs.

So, let’s have a look at some of the disadvantage s of Siteground web hosting.

1. Limited Storage

Most of the Siteground competitor’s web hosting company claims to provide unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited domains, and basically unlimited everything.

But at the same time when it comes to Siteground, they clearly mention that you’ll only get a certain amount of space for the plan you signed up for, such as:

  • 10GB for StartUp plan (Suitable for ~ 10,000 Visits Monthly)
  • 20GB for GrowBig plan (Suitable for ~ 25,000 Visits Monthly)
  • 30GB for GoGeek plan (Suitable for ~1,00,000 Visits Monthly)

Now here you might think that why I should opt for a hosting like Siteground who only provides limited space, over a web hosting who claims to provide unlimited everything (Like Bluehost, Godaddy or Hostgator).

But my friend, If you live in this world, then you know the only unlimited thing we have is the amount of lies that will come out of people’s mouths.

There is no such thing as unlimited when it comes to web hosting. These web hosting companies market their product with unlimited everything to attract more and more people toward their services and plan, but when it comes to fulfilling their promise, they fail to provide good stability and performance to all of their users.

This is the reason why a good hosting company like Sitegroundtransparently allot limited resources to each user.

In fact, A premium managed WordPress hosting company like WP engine or Kinsta also never promises to give you unlimited space. Even their $241/mo plan promises to give you only 50GB local storage (suitable for 4,00,000 visitors)

WP engine

But at the same time look at any popular cheap hosting company, they all will promise to provide unlimited everything in just $3-5/mo plans.😄

See my friend, Sharing hosting accounts simply means that all account holders will share the resources among themselves.

And If one user of that sharing hosting server get a sudden spike in traffic or use an unusual amount of space, It is going to affect the rest of users who are on the same server.

That’s why a good web hosting company like site ground limits the space of every account holder so that space-hogging doesn’t happen and every account holder of that server gets to enjoy as fair as possible resources, maintaining the server’s stability and speed.

One more thing here I would like to mention is don’t treat traffic mention on their plan as a lmitation, they are just a recommendation and for your information I am on GoGeek plan which is suitable for 100k visiotrs and I have installed 2 sites on my account and combined monthly visitors of both website crosses 150k visitors every month, still i have never faced any issues.

2. Higher price for the second term

Siteground bills on a yearly basis and your initial purchase can be between 1 – 3 years

SiteGround will give you a huge discount on your initial purchase—meaning that you get very inexpensive, high-quality hosting for up to three years on a huge discounted price.

However, once your initial subscription ends, the renewal prices are significantly higher.

For example – The startup plan which will cost you only $3.95/mo after 60% discount on the initial purchase will cost you $11.95/mo at the time of renewal.

On the brighter side, three years turns out to be a long time. It’s also definitely worth the money if you host a fair number of sites.

This is why it’s advisable to max out the subscription term as a new user, so you’ll get to maximize your profits for more savings!

In fact, I personally also opted for 2 years for the GoGeek plan which I got for only $11.95/mo (regular cost $34.95/mo)

Siteground sales receipt
Siteground sales receipt

Editor’s note: If you are opting for a 2-3 year plan, then don’t worry about the renewal price. 2-3 years is a very long period and you and your site will be on a big level in terms of growth and finance after 2-3 years.

How much it costs in practice?

As I mentioned at the starting of this Siteground review, SiteGround offers a wide range of hosting solutions; from sharedVPS and dedicated servers, to cloud and managed WordPress hosting

As most people use their Shared or managed WordPress hosting service, so here I will focus on only these two services.

Siteground offers three different plans for both of their Shared and managed WordPress hosting solutions at the same price: Startup, GrowBig, and GoGeek.

Let’s have a quick look at all of their plans:

1. StartUp plan

This is the cheapest Siteground shared hosting plan which starts from $3.95/mo. This plan is suitable for those who are just starting out. Here you can host only one website. It includes 10 GB disk space along with all the essential features like 1click WordPress installation, Free CDN, Free SSL, Daily backups and more.

2. GrowBig plan

GrowBig plan is the most popular plan of Siteground for good reason. It’s the plan that offers the best value for your money.

It comes with 20 GB disk space along with all the features of the Startup plan, plus you’ll get premium features like On-demand Backup Copies, Super Cacher, and free professional site migration service.

3. GoGeek plan

The GoGeek plan is Siteground’s highest-tier hosting package (Share and managed).

It is what I personally use here at Bloggingnova because I love all the nerdy features that comes along with the plan, and the fact that the plan easily handles the substantial amount of traffic Bloggingnova and one more site hosted on the same account receives every month.

Aside from the ability to handle high traffic, GoGeek plan comes with all the necessary features you get with Startup and GrowBig plan plus premium features like Priority support, White-label Clients, Staging and more.

The GoGeek plan allows you to use more server resources than any other shared hosting plan. This includes more simultaneous collection and processes, more CPU seconds, higher process execution time, and more.

Which is the best Siteground’s plan for you?

Otion 1 – If you are just starting out, or running a medium size traffic website (Less than 50k) then choose GrowBig Plan. This plan is best for medium website with all its essnetial and premium features.

Option 2 – If you are running a hgh traffic site like me, which gets more than 100k monthly vistior, then I would recommend go for their GoGeek plan. It’ll not only allow you to use more server resources than any othe rplan, but also give you extra premium fatures liek staging and priority supports.

Is Siteground Right Hosting For you?

After reading this detailed Siteground review, you must be wondering if Siteground is the right choice for your website?

Well, If I talk about my past 1-year experience with Siteground, It has been an absolute pleasure hosting my both sites with them.

I have used many big EIG hosting providers like Hostgator, Bluehost and even Giant hosting companies like GoDaddy but I never had this kind of experience with any of them.

Talking about speed and Uptime, As soon as I moved to Siteground, my site speed automatically got increase (Thanks to Google cloud platform and super cacher technology) and from the past more than 300 days, my website has never gone down (Big achievements😎)

SiteGround is a better alternative than Bluehost as their shared hosting comes with better support, higher performance, and advanced options (e.g. staging). Bluehost can’t match SiteGround’s WordPress expertise and features either. At renewal, both providers have similar prices
